Thanksgiving Break Recap

As we return from Thanksgiving break to finish up the semester, I wanted to dedicate this post to covering what my Thanksgiving break was like. On the Saturday before thanksgiving, my roommates and I hosted a friendsgiving. We had tons of food, delicious cocktails, and an overall great time hanging out with some of our closest friends. For the first couple of days of Thanksgiving week were a little more relaxed. I spent most of my time at my house here in Ada. One of my roommates and I decided to try and catch up on as much work as possible since we had some assignments and project do that weekend or once we got back from break. So, those few days were pretty boring but relaxing, nonetheless. On Wednesday, I headed to my parent’s house to spend Thanksgiving with them. When I got there, we spent the day running errands like getting my oil changed, getting new tires for my car, and doing a little shopping. When Thursday finally came around, my parents spent the entire morning cooking a ton of delicious food and we sat down to eat sometime in the early afternoon. It was super nice to get to spend some time with my family and eat some really good home cooked food. Once I came back home it was back to reality, so I ended up spending the next couple of days finishing up any last-minute work I had. Overall, it was great to have a break even if it was a small one and I’m really looking forward to wrapping up this semester on a strong note. I hope you all got to enjoy your Thanksgiving break and got to enjoy some really great food!

  2. Hi Jasmyn! It sounds like you had a relaxing (and productive!) Thanksgiving break. I wish I had gotten ahead on my assignments at the start of break, but I definitely needed a break from everything. I'm glad you got to eat a lot of good food, too! Yum!
